Joe Fraser

Chief Executive Officer

Joe is a TH Citizen, born and raised in the Traditional Territory. He brings over 20 years experience in leadership and management in Civil Construction, Mining, Oil and Gas Infrastructure, and Hydroelectric projects across Western Canada.

Joe’s experience includes the Diavik Diamond Mine infrastructure build, Mayo B, Toba Inlet, and Site C Hydro Electric Projects. Most notably is how he started his career, right here in the TH Traditional Territory on the family placer claim on Hunker Creek.

He is known for his vigilance in safety and quality, and for managing large fast-paced, multi-tasking teams of up to 100 or more personnel. He has continuously been rewarded for his collaborative leadership style as he moved his way up through the ranks.

Although his work has taken him all over Western Canada through his career, he continued to live in Dawson City with his wife and three children.

Frances Aitken

Industrial Manager

Frances is a Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Citizen who’s lived in the Traditional Territory since the age of 5. Having started her own tourism business at the age of 18, she is a firm believer in the important link between economic development and First Nation culture. Her experience also includes working in admin roles in Vancouver, for the TH Government in their finance team and running her own bookkeeping business. Frances is responsible for managing and growing our Chief Isaac Mechanical, Tr’ondëk Heavy Equipment and MacKenzie Petroleum businesses as well as overseeing the Chief Isaac staff at Manitoulin in Dawson.
